How to Write Quality Articles Quickly and Earn More Money Online

By Ruth Barringham

We’ve all heard the saying that when it comes to earning money online from your writing, ‘Content is King’ and ‘Money Loves Speed.’

So can you imagine what would happen if you combined these two things together and wrote quality articles AND did it quickly with little or no effort required?

If you want to earn money from your writing, it’s important to enjoy what you do, otherwise you won’t want to do it. If you find researching and writing hard work you won’t enjoy it and your work won’t be good either. People who hate their jobs are never good at it.

I’ve been working as a writer for over 20 years now and during that time I’ve found an easy way to write hundreds and thousands of article without doing the hard work. I’ve had many niche websites over the years and I used to sit and write articles almost every day so I know what I’m talking about.

And before that, I spent a few years studying for a degree so I spent hours researching and writing for that too.

When I was studying, what I used to do, was read something (maybe a paragraph or two or sometimes a whole page or two), and then write out in my own words my understanding of what I just read. And what was interesting, was what an amazing understanding I got when I worked this way. It seemed that there was a big difference between reading something and thinking I understood it, and having to explain it in words. It helped me understand things much more.

And this same method of working can be used for writing articles, or any online content.

All you need to do is find other articles on the subject you want to write about, pick out the information that you want to use in your own article, and write out your own understanding of it in your own words. Make it sound as though you’re explaining it to someone else. When you’ve finished you’ll have a whole new article.

You can collect your information from just one article or several, and combine your collective understanding of them all.

But here’s the caveat: Don’t plagiarise. Don’t copy things out word-for-word. Write your own articles. As long as it’s your own words and not copied from someone else, it’s not plagiarism.

You see, there is little or no new information on most subjects. Most published articles are rewrites of other information that the writer has gathered from other sources of information.

Just make sure your sources are reliable. When I was studying at university we looked for primary sources, which means the place where the information originated rather than a post about it on someone’s blog.

It also helps if you provide links in your article to where you found your information to back up what you’re saying.

In my 15 Minute Article Writing System, I layout step-by-step how to quickly do online research and write an article in 15 minutes or less.
